This project embodies the principles of naturalistic garden design, creating a dynamic yet serene landscape that evolves with the seasons. The design prioritizes ecological balance, using plant communities that mimic natural Mediterranean habitats. Layers of drought-tolerant perennials, grasses, and groundcovers replace traditional lawns, significantly reducing maintenance while enhancing biodiversity.
Instead of rigid structures, the layout follows organic forms, with shifting perspectives that create a sense of movement and depth. Hardscaping elements—such as gravel pathways and natural stone—blend seamlessly with the planting scheme, reinforcing a low-maintenance and water-efficient approach. The result is a self-sustaining, resilient landscape that thrives with minimal intervention while offering year-round visual interest.
